1. About this agreement
These Terms of Use set out the ground rules for browsing and playing on Southern Star Play (referred to below as "we", "us", or "the site"). Opening the site and using its games means you accept what follows. If any part doesn't sit right with you, the simplest option is to stop using the site.
2. What this platform is
Southern Star Play is a free, play-for-fun social arcade. The games look and feel like classic reel games, but they exist purely for amusement. To be completely clear about what that means:
- There is no betting with real money anywhere on the site.
- Nothing you do in a game can pay out real money or anything you could cash in.
- We hand out no prizes that carry real-world value.

4. Play credits explained
Every game runs on a pool of on-screen credits. Those credits are a scorekeeping device and nothing more: they cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn, or turned into money. They arrive free, and when your balance runs low it simply tops itself back up so the fun keeps going.
5. Fair use of the site
We ask that you keep things reasonable. Please don't play if you're under 18, don't run bots or automated scripts against the games, don't lift our artwork or code for reuse elsewhere, don't poke at the site's security, and don't use Southern Star Play for anything unlawful.
6. Ownership of our work
The look of the games, the illustrations, wording, logos and underlying code are ours (or licensed to us) and are protected by copyright and related laws. Enjoy them on the site, but please don't copy or redistribute them.
7. No warranty & limits on liability
The site is offered "as is", with no promises that it will always be available or error-free. As far as New Zealand law allows, we accept no responsibility for indirect or knock-on losses tied to your use of the site. Because no real money ever changes hands, there is likewise no financial loss we could be responsible for in connection with play credits.
8. Revisions to this page
These terms may be refreshed now and then. When they change we'll update the review date at the top, and carrying on with the site afterwards means you're fine with the newer version.
9. Which law applies
New Zealand law governs these terms, and the New Zealand courts are the place any related dispute would be heard.
