1. The basics
A cookie is a tiny text file a site can leave on your device to remember something between visits. Southern Star Play mostly relies on a close cousin of cookies called browser local storage, which keeps a handful of small values right inside your browser rather than sending them anywhere.
2. Our light-touch approach
We keep this deliberately minimal. The only things we store are the ones the site genuinely needs to work. There is no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and nothing about your browsing is sold or handed on.
3. Exactly what we store
Two small entries, both purely functional:

Both sit in local storage on your own device. They carry no personal detail beyond a simple yes/no.
4. Things we steer clear of
- ❌ Advertising or remarketing tags
- ❌ Social-media pixels
- ❌ Behavioural or cross-site trackers
- ❌ Anything touching payment or financial data
5. Resources loaded from elsewhere
A couple of visual bits come from well-known providers so the pages render nicely:
- Google Fonts serves our typefaces (Sora, Manrope), and may set a performance cookie during delivery.
- Font Awesome supplies the small icons, delivered over the jsDelivr CDN.
Each of those runs under its own privacy policy, which you're welcome to look over.
6. Staying in control
Your browser is the master switch here. From its settings you can inspect, clear, or block stored data whenever you like — look for a "Cookies" or "Privacy" section. Just bear in mind that clearing the two essential entries above will bring back the age prompt on your next visit.
